Norton Road Wines is a family-owned venture specialising in growing and making small batch, cool-climate wines. Owners, Karen and Simon grow and make delicious wines reflecting the terroir of their location. Through their Cellar Door and restaurant, they also support other local small batch winemakers, showcasing these wines alongside the

Owners, Karen and Simon grow and make delicious wines reflecting the terroir of their location. Through their Cellar Door and restaurant, they also support other local small batch winemakers, showcasing these wines alongside their own.
Inspired by several trips to the United States, Simon and Karen have created a dining experience unique to the Canberra region. BIGGIE’S is an American BBQ themed restaurant, serving a mouth-watering range of meats seasoned and “low and slow”.
Their philosophy is simple – to share the region’s best local food and beverages in a relaxed environment.
The Norton Road Cellar door and grounds are also perfectly set up for private functions, including special occasions, plus they have a large private room ideal to cater for conferences, meetings and planning days.

Norton Road Wines is located just 15 minutes from the Canberra Airport in picturesque Wamboin, New South Wales. The Norton Road vineyard at Wamboin is a small five-acre parcel of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Riesling, first planted in the 1990s . The vineyard is being rejuvenated and extended, including additional plantings of Riesling, Caberne

The Norton Road vineyard at Wamboin is a small five-acre parcel of Pinot Noir, Merlot and Riesling, first planted in the 1990s . The vineyard is being rejuvenated and extended, including additional plantings of Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Gamay, and features a 800m high-altitude easterly aspect, perfectly suited to Pinot Noir.
We also have another small four-acre plot in nearby Bywong, featuring Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.
The Cellar Door, Restaurant and Conference venue overlooks the vineyard and the Wamboin hills rural bush setting, aproximately 25 minutes from Canberra CBD.

Norton Road Wines hosts ‘BIGGIE'S BBQ’, bringing traditional Texas and Southern style cooking to Canberra, using only the very best of local and regional produce.
Karen and Simon return to Texas as often as possible to ‘research’ Texas BBQ – think Franklins, Mueller’s, Smoke, Stubbs, Mickelthwait, Harlem Road and others.
They've also been

At BIGGIE'S, we take the “low and slow” style of cooking, then give it a bit of an Aussie twist.
BIGGIE'S also showcases a selection of local craft beers, ciders and spirits.
